This is an opportunity for those wishing to connect deeply with the plant world and gain the valuable knowledge needed to become an excellent herbalist. Learn to use herbs for food and medicine and empower your self with ancient wisdom. Work with an experienced herbalist in a practical hands-on way from planting seedlings to making salves, creams, tinctures and more. Classes will be a combination of lecture time and practical time. We will go for walks in forests and fields, mountains, meadows and gardens and gather plants and prepare them as teas, food, and medicine. This is a nature based program and much of it takes place out doors.
The foundation of Herbalism is knowing plants.
